My Zombie Plan

So, After finishing walking dead I came up with a zombie plan for my neighborhood. It goes as follows.

So first thing to do is round up supplies, both from our house and surrounding areas. No way we are getting to winco or other big food stores first, but I think we have a shot at getting to our local 7-11 and other fast food joints before most of the good stuff is gone. We spread into groups of 2 (assuming that the survivors we have our the 5 of us living here and 1-3 extras we either pick up or have over at the time).

We go through the south town shops, most notably Ace Hardware and the kitchen store near our place for a first grab at knives and other useful things. After that we siphon gas from nearby cars (again assuming that most people have already got theirs and ran and what we are taking is from those that have been hit) and pack up our own caravan.

Next stop on our stock up is Bi-Mart since matt would have keys and would be able to pick up stuff that others may have missed. Hopefully we could grab a couple more guns and ammo to arm the rest of us (our gun count already being at 4 not including our run to mark’s family home. Thank you paranoid roommates) as well as medical supplies. Also grabbing gas from cars in the parking lots. This should be a good amount of supplies for our first response.

Now we do the inevitable family and loved ones check in. Hopefully phones will still work and we can make a meet up point somewhere in town. If not then we go for only the direct family and truly loved ones (unless we can think of people with skills we may need). Bringing our ranks up to the mid 20’s with 5-6 cars. Now that’s a fair amount of people but they will most likely whittle down after a while (sad but true).

From here its a straight drive (minus stops for gas and other basic needs) to Montana. I have a house up there that we could fortify and try to make a stand at. It’s an 8-12 hour drive depending on traffic back up and even longer if we take the less populated route (which would be safest). We make it up there and we immediately make a perimeter to insure a safe work site at least for a short while.

Now here is about where we leave off. Shifts are made to divide labor so that we can clear out trees from the line of site while also giving us fire wood and work wood. Plants would be planted and runs would be made in town. We make our home here, but we do not get soft. Gun training for those who are not as good with guns and most importantly an escape plan for if shit hits the fan.

We will survive. We will prosper. We will make it.

Constant Vigilance.
